Information

Thanks for visiting AKTC’s social anxiety disorder test page. Do you think you or someone you know could have social anxiety disorder? It’s no secret that I do, and I’ve found that it’s not something openly discussed and sometimes not even definitively diagnosed.

With that in mind.. I thought it’d be fun to put together a free social anxiety disorder test for AKTC. It’s a rather basic social phobia self test at the moment but I will be adding more questions in the future.

Currently the test includes questions about speaking in public, interacting with strangers and also being asked on a first date – just to name a few.

Also, as far as being an ‘official’ social anxiety disorder test, I’m not a doctor or qualified psychiatrist and any results should be treated as informational only (and not a diagnosis!) as they are purely based on my own personal experiences with having social anxiety disorder.

    Social Anxiety Disorder Test Results:

    Greater than 75%

Your answers indicate high levels of anxiety in most social situations. This suggests a diagnosis of social anxiety disorder and perhaps a visit to your GP to discuss social anxiety disorder treatment would be beneficial.

If you’re located in Australia you can call Beyond Blue on 1300 22 4636, day or night! They also have a web chat service between the hours 4pm to 10pm AEST for those unable to talk on the phone.

  •

    Social Anxiety Disorder Test Results:

    Greater than 50%

It appears you’re a little more anxious in social situations than most people. That’s okay though! Perhaps a visit to your GP to talk about possible social anxiety disorder treatment would be beneficial. 🙂

  •

    Social Anxiety Disorder Test Results:

    Less than 50%

Your answers to our social phobia test indicate only slight levels of anxiety in one or two social situations, which is completely normal!

If you’re concerned at all however it’s always good to make an appointment to discuss things with your doctor. 🙂

  •

    Social Anxiety Disorder Test Results:

    Less than 25%

It would appear that it’s highly unlikely you have social anxiety disorder. That’s great! 🙂
